Cooperation with Eva Kaličinská and Zastávka u Brna refugee camp
The first part of this project is based on my work „Sevgili Ismail“. With asylum seekers in Zastávka u Brna refugee camp we shared our secrets in our mother tongues, asking them to write them down phonetically, while experiencing an ambivalent feeling of intimacy. The second part consists of layered multi-lingual letters written by migrants to their beloved ones. The letters had been translated with Google translator from the original language step by step to languages of countries they had to go through on their way to the Czech Republic.
